After continious work of KSPF team, RGUHS approved re-opening of Government Physiotherapy College under Bangalore Medical college and Research Institute on 26/07/2014 for academic year 2014-2015.

draft was prepared in 2011 by KSPF

KSPF members had three meeting to present their opinions on contents in the draft, finally a reference copy of the council draft was prepared by KSPF in May 2012.

 

Approched all the MLA's and MP's in 2012 and 2013 with momerandum requesting for requirements for physiotherapist in Karnataka State.

Meeting with Health Minister and Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare in July 2013

The need for Physiotherapy council, to Consider BPT and MPT Government recuitmnent (RR rule), Opening of Government Physiotherapy Colleges in karnataka was discussed with Mr.U.T.Khader, Honorable health minister of Karnataka, Mr.Madhan Gopal,PrincipalSecretary, Health and family welfare, Dr.Dhnaya kumar, Director of Health and family welfare, Karnataka.

Committee formed by Karnataka Physiotherapist to draft Council Paper

Draft has been compiled by 3 man Committee selected among Physiotherapist in Karnataka by KSPF:
1. Prof. Pravin Aaron, Principal, Padmashree Institute of Physiotherapy, Bangalore and Advisory Committee, Chairman, Karnataka State Physiotherapy Federation.who compiled a draft in 2011.
2. Prof. Vinod Babu.K, Principal, Goutham College of Physiotherapy, Bangalore; Life member of Karnataka State Physiotherapy Federation, who compiled a draft in 2011.
3. Einstein Jerome, Senior Physiotherapist, ESI model Hospital, Rajajinagar, Bangalore. Founder of Physiotherapy Job Portal, A man who involved in drafting Physiotherapy Central Council Bill.

Meeting with Director of Health and Family Welfare on 12/08/2013 and draft has been submitted: With Suresh, Einsten, Prof. Pravin Aaron, Jaba Kumar, Sai Kumar.N, Ayyappan. V.R., Akshata.N.Sirigeri, Shridhar sir, Mahendra , Mahesh Hiremat, Manjunath , Gourish, Abdul Hakeem, Shaik Imran, Adarsh, Nagaveni, many other physios across state.
